Managing school dinners can be resource intensive and time-consuming. With magicbooking, you can easily access meal counts for both booked and served meals, send SMS reminders to parents who haven't booked their child's meal for the day with a link to pay from their phone and automatically apply UIFSM and FSM entitlement. Our school dinner module fully integrates with the school's MIS and comes with a built-in till view to record meals served and access allergies and dietary needs.

Integration with your MIS
Children's data is automatically pulled across and information such as UFSM, pupil premium entitlement, classrooms, dietary needs and allergies are readily available, so you can make sure pupils are offered the right meal. Parents of children eligible for UFSM do not have to make a booking as they are automatically counted in.
Booking payments
Get paid upfront and not in arrears. Our school dinner payment system has the capability to enforce payment upon checkout with all processed payments automatically allocated to the booking.
Children with no bookings will be flagged on the till, so the dinner staff can easily identify if a light meal needs to be served.
Integrated dinner till
Our school dinner system comes with built-in tills for dinner staff. The till displays each child in the selected classroom along with the meal booked, dietary needs and allergies. Children with no booking are flagged allowing the dinner staff to book a light meal.
Children who are absent are greyed out from the view, while those that have already been served are marked and moved to the bottom of the list for greater usability. A tally of each type of dinner served is displayed on the daily report to assist cross-referencing with catering providers invoices.
Credit management
For any meals that are paid for but not served, a credit is automatically generated and allocated to the relevant parent’s account. Parents can use this credit to pay for other bookings.
